Lobster on the River

The Rotary Club of Placerville is proud to announce that they will be presenting the eighth annual Lobster on the River at the majestic and awe-inspiring Coloma Resort on September 7th. Although this event is still a more than a month ahead, the local service club is already busy planning for this spectacular fundraiser that takes place on the shores of south fork of the American River.


Boys and Girls Club tops latest local charity programs on Foothill 7 TV

Boys and Girls Club El DoradoLocal residents and internet viewers are continuing to enjoy much of the new programming on Foothill 7 Television, especially the continuing local segments that feature local charitable organizations in El Dorado County. The Boys and Girls Club of El Dorado County is the latest production by Foothill 7 Television that will begin airing daily on Comcast Television Channel 7 in El Dorado County and on www.foothill7tv.com as of April 12.

“The Boys & Girls Club is extremely appreciative to Foothill 7 and the Thompson family for their support of our organization and for putting together this wonderful piece on the Club." said Sean McCartney, Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club of El Dorado County. Marshall Medical featured in growing line up on Foothill 7 Television

marshall-medicalPLACERVILLE – Residents tuning in to Foothill 7 Television as of late have likely noticed a few changes and some new programming options. Marshall Medical is just one of several local organizations that has collaborated with El Dorado County's Television station during its time of great growth in the community.

Marshall Medical recently released its first public awareness production on Foothill 7 Television's "Hometown Happenings."  The informative program educates viewers on the modern techniques of hearing loss correction through the personal story of Janet Tempel.

Tempel, 56, is an El Dorado County resident that has suffered the effects of hearing loss for much of her life. With the encouragement of her family, she decided to seek treatment to improve her quality life through Marshall Medical.
