The El Dorado County Association of Realtors Honor Our Troops Committee is gathering names for the Spring 2015 shipment of care packages to the Middle Easy War Zones. Nonprofit organizations located on the west slope of El Dorado County wishing to learn more about the Women's Fund El Dorado granting process or to have specific questions answered are invited to attend the WFED Bidders Workshop scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 18, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.

The workshop will be held at the El Dorado County Office of Education, 6767 Green Valley Rd., Placerville.

wafflesAutotronics Automotive Repair is Hosting “Women, Wheels, & Waffles” Ladies Only Event!

Autotronics, a local auto repair shop in Cameron Park, is hosting its 5th Annual “Women, Wheels, & Waffles” event. A Ladies Only Event on Saturday February 7th, from 10:00-Noon! There is only a $5 donation, and all donations will go to the El Dorado County Food Bank.

This is an excellent venue for Moms with Daughters that are becoming new drivers, and a great opportunity for those of us who have been on the road a while to refresh our basic working knowledge of our vehicles and how to be safe on the road.
